Weekend Social Programs
Our weekend programs are all about getting out and having fun! These programs are aimed at participants wanting to develop their social skills, take a step outside their comfort zone and try new experiences.
When
Our weekend social programs run on Saturdays and Sundays during the school term and can be accessed by any of our participants. These programs generally run for 6-7 hours in duration.
Activities
We participate in a range of different activities and travel to different locations including Melbourne, Ballarat, Lorne and Queenscliff. Some of our favourite activities include attending sporting events, indoor trampolining, museums, zoos and wildlife parks, beach days and lots more!
Ages
Our weekend programs can be accessed by participants of all ages. We also aim to ensure that our groups include participants of a similar age with shared interests and experiences. We also offer 18+ activities once a term.
SPACE Adventures
Our new SPACE Adventures program focuses on health, nature, wellbeing and ADVENTURE! This program is aimed at those who have finished school and wanting to try new experiences and opportunities. The name of our program is based on the following principles; Social, Positivity, Ambition, Creativity & Empowerment.
When
SPACE Adventures runs each Wednesday of the school term from 9am until 3pm. If you cannot commit to every Wednesday, we may be able to replicate the program on a different day for you.
Outcomes
Our participants are encouraged and supported to gain independence, build new and existing skills, meet new friends, focus on health and wellbeing, work as part of a team and problem solve. All of this is achieved with support and guidance from our amazing team of support workers.
Activities
Participants can expect to participate in a range of activities including hiking, swimming, bike riding, scavenger hunts, visiting museums and historical sites, and lots more! We want our participants to finish the day feeling fulfilled and accomplished.
Camps
Launching mid-late 2022, camps are all about taking things to the next level! Our camps are strategically planned and implemented by our team to maximise participant outcomes. There are many benefits to camps such as building self confidence and awareness, increasing independent living skills, and taking a step outside your comfort zone all whilst in a safe and supportive environment. If you’d like to receive updates about our upcoming camps, fill out the contact form on our website.

Holiday Programs
Our holiday programs are a great way for participants to keep busy during the holiday periods when they are not at school or work. These activities focus on having fun and building friendships, and we really enjoy getting out and about in the community.
When
Our holiday programs run each school holiday break. We generally run programs from Monday to Friday but sometimes have occasional weekend activities as well.
Activities
Holidays are all about having fun and trying new things! Participants are sent a detailed program prior to the start of holidays where they can pick and choose which activities they’d like to take part in. We offer activities locally, but also travel to different places in Melbourne such as the Museum, Zoo & Aquarium.
Ages
Like our weekend programs, holiday programs can be accessed by participants of all ages. So whether you’re still at school, or out in the work force, we have something for everyone!
Individual Support
Also known as 1:1 support, this is for participants who require a higher level of care or a more structured and tailored approach. 1:1 support can be utilised across all our services and involves the participant being allocated their own individual worker for that period of support.
Consistency
Some participants benefit from a familiar face. We can organise an ongoing schedule where the same support worker delivers all of your supports. Alternatively, you may just be after a once off support arrangement. Either way, we will ensure your supports are clear and consistent.
When
Individual support can be organised for whenever you need it – so whether it’s support in the morning to get ready for school, accessing the community in the afternoon, or you’re looking to get out and about on the weekend – we can tailor the supports to meet your goals.
How
If you would like to access individual support, first you’ll need to fill out an intake form (located at the top of this page). From there we can liaise directly with you regarding the kind of supports you require, your needs and goals, as well as the frequency.

Although we are not registered, we are still bound by the NDIS Code of Conduct and pride ourselves in offering a high quality of support to our participants. In addition, our support workers are police checked, NDIS Worker Screened and have current Working With Children Checks (WWCC). The health, safety and wellbeing of our participants is our top priority.

Is there an age limit?
Zero Gravity typically support children and young people with a disability, aged 5-30. If you are outside these age brackets we’d still recommend getting in touch with us as we may be able to accommodate, or point you in the right direction of another service provider that can assist.
What makes Zero Gravity different from other service providers out there?
Unlike a lot of larger service providers out there, Zero Gravity are a small, family run business. We are committed to offering the highest quality of support to our participants and their families. We strive to provide clear communication, whether you’re a current participant or just someone enquiring, and want you to feel listened to. We aim to ensure that Zero Gravity always remains a safe and positive place for everyone, where nothing holds you down, and where there is ZERO GRAVITY!
How do I access services with Zero Gravity?
If you are interested in accessing any of our services, first check out our website and socials to see some of the different things we do. From there we ask that you complete our intake form, which can be found at the top of this page. We will then contact you within 7 business days to discuss your needs and what you are specifically after. From here we will organise a meet and greet so we can get to know you a bit better; we will also go through a detailed participant profile (also called a Care Plan) and have some forms for you to fill out. Once this is completed you’re all set to go! We aim to make our intake process clear and straightforward for everyone.
